I don’t know if the disease is progressing or if is just a side affect of the schedule I have been keeping.\u00a0 I am tired.\u00a0 Massively tired.<\/p>\n
I’ve given up, temporarily-permanently, working on other’s computers.\u00a0 I don’t have the energy to dedicate to affect a speedy resolution of one’s issues.\u00a0 Just removing a hard drive take an enormous amount of effort.\u00a0 Consider the total package of movement that doing this requires.\u00a0 It’s not just a few screws and it is out.\u00a0 You must position the computer, get tools, do the actual work, take the HD to another system. The list of activity goes on.<\/p>\n
My personal systems, I generally don’t touch.\u00a0 Everything I do is remote from whatever system I’m using to my servers.\u00a0 The only things that move are my fingers.\u00a0 Even moving fingers have been increasingly difficult.\u00a0 Moving them is easy.\u00a0 Getting them to do what they need to do can sometimes be a major challenge.<\/p>\n
Typing this, is giving me considerable pain in my arms.\u00a0 I need to rebuild my main workstation.\u00a0 It is currently running Ubuntu.\u00a0 However, voice recognition is severely lacking on Linux operating systems and Window’s OS has a much more refined speech recognition system.<\/p>\n
I fear the rebuild.\u00a0 I have a lot of automation in my desktop that I don’t know if I have the energy to reprogram into another OS style.\u00a0 It must be done, but I don’t have the guts to address it.<\/p>\n
I’m considering removing myself from some pro-bono activities I am the primary, and sole executer, for.\u00a0 I just can’t sustain the interactions that I need to keep going.\u00a0 I thoroughly enjoy doing it, but everything is repetitive.\u00a0 If I could just get people to understand that I need this information without hunting it down, my issues would be reduced.<\/p>\n
I don’t have it in me anymore. Time for someone else to take up the fight.<\/p>\n
