What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.John 3:6<\/sub><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is so true to me.\u00a0 My body is in trouble, but my mind is not.\u00a0 The division of body and spirit has never been so clear to me.\u00a0 This disease is robbing my body of its function, but in doing so, my spirit has become free to be what it needs to be.<\/p>\n

The wind blows wherever it will, and you hear the sound it makes, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”John 3:8<\/sub><\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I have never been so uncertain about my future.\u00a0 I’m not talking about next month or next year.\u00a0 I’m talking about in the next 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

I was sitting at the table having dinner Monday evening.\u00a0 My wife, my child and I had a marvelous repast.\u00a0 I sat with my wife on our marvelous couch.\u00a0 An went from feeling great to having a chain of spasms that sent me to bed grossly medicated.\u00a0 The spasms are still going on.\u00a0 It is now Friday.\u00a0 My muscles are all pulled.\u00a0 I have stilettos stabbing me in random places around my body.\u00a0 My chest muscles are so sore they are inflamed and I look like I’m changing sexes.<\/p>\n

No.\u00a0 No one who is born of the Spirit knows what God has in store for him\/her.<\/p>\n

If I have told you people about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?John 3:12<\/sub><\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Flat out, we need to believe that there is a plan for us.\u00a0 We need to believe that our intelligence is less that His and we need to fight the urge to not believe.<\/div>\n

When I was in the white terror, the Word came and comforted me.\u00a0 I tried to understand and then just accepted.\u00a0 When I accepted, I understood.\u00a0 The knowledge kept me warm for a time and then faded.\u00a0 Now, all I have is the warmth that there is a Heaven.\u00a0 I would assume the white terror could also be considered Hell.\u00a0 I do know it is a place I never desire to return to.<\/div>\n

I wish I would be articulate enough to share the terror.\u00a0 For, to understand the terror is to understand the light.\u00a0 We cannot truly be thankful without realizing what we need to be thankful about.<\/div>\n

I am thankful for every breath I take.\u00a0 Every click of the shutter, the bird, bee or flower that is in the frame; I am thankful for all of them.\u00a0 The methane smell of the rotting swamp is not a pretty smell, but is still, incredible when compared to complete emptiness, devoid of any sensory information.<\/div>\n

16<\/sup>For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. 17<\/sup>For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. 18<\/sup>The one who believes in him is not condemned.John 3<\/sub><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Trinity is there for us.\u00a0 But, we have free will. With the freedom of choice comes the ability not to believe.<\/p>\n

I have long held that the Trinity would come to us to ease your suffering in immense peril.\u00a0 My experience over the summer reinforces that belief.\u00a0 I claim that the Father, Son and Holy spirit warmed and comforted me that day and days since passed. It is not for me to make you believe, but for you to choose to believe in the Three made One.\u00a0 The Holy Trinity made Human.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to celebrate Christ this Week.\u00a0 Palm Sunday is this weekend, and the Triduum later in the week.<\/p>\n
