After much deliberation, I can honestly say that I think that I may have a high probability of what I think may be a cold.<\/p>\n
The indecision is based firmly in my lack of ability to grasp my “new norm.” In the “old norm,” if I felt had body aches, I could correctly identify that I had a cold.\u00a0 The “new norm” includes body aches 24\/7 with occasional ventures into elevated levels of having more severe body aches. So, I am reluctant to say I have either a cold or the flu.\u00a0 I can say that cold medicine helps me breath better, so I’ll go with that I’ve got an upper respiratory something or other.<\/p>\n
Should I go to the doctor? Should I just take OTC meds?\u00a0 Should I do this? Should I do that?\u00a0 All I want to do is curl up with my puppies, a cup of something warm, read my book (maybe) and cover all of us with a warm cozy blanket.<\/p>\n
This article is not a ploy to get gumbo from one of my friends, although that does sound good.\u00a0 My wife has informed me that there is gumbo in the freezer.\u00a0 It isn’t my friend’s creation (she really kicks ass on the gumbo making), but it will keep me warm today.<\/p>\n
My expectations for the day are not really high, unless it snows.\u00a0 If it snows, I think I may just have to go play in it and transform this cold into the full blown flu.<\/p>\n
