{"id":1398,"date":"2017-11-18T06:45:23","date_gmt":"2017-11-18T12:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journey.jayctheriot.com\/?p=232"},"modified":"2017-11-18T06:45:23","modified_gmt":"2017-11-18T12:45:23","slug":"2017-november-18-ink-pen-coming","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayscafe.net\/?p=1398","title":{"rendered":"2017 November 18, Ink Pen Coming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I ordered a fountain pen.\u00a0 Nothing extravagant, just something without a ball in it.\u00a0 I&#8217;m thinking that I&#8217;ll be able to write better with a pen I don&#8217;t have to press into the paper.\u00a0 I can just let the ink flow.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t write much, but when I do, it is usually strained.\u00a0 I shudder at writing out the bills.\u00a0 I used to enjoy the thrill of paying a bill by physically writing a check.\u00a0 Now, I dread it.\u00a0 It has become a very physically painful event.<\/p>\n<p>The pen, hopefully will arrive today!\u00a0 Amazon is not helpful with the details of shipment.\u00a0 So, I will try to contain my hyperactive mind and just let the damn pen arrive.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve had a bad couple of days.\u00a0 I momentarily lost faith last night.\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t take my condition anymore.\u00a0 So, I went to bed early.\u00a0 I had cramps and spasms all night that kept waking me up.\u00a0 However, with the help of cold medicine, I was able to sleep until 6:50 am.<\/p>\n<p>I will, undoubtedly, be tired all day.\u00a0 I really did not get quality sleep last night.\u00a0 But, what will be, will be.\u00a0 Que sera, sera.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Doris Day - Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be Will Be)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/SdhAfMor9BM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I just need to go with it and let things happen.<\/p>\n<p>I have to report back in to my insurance company what my status is.\u00a0 So, I&#8217;m having to be introspective.\u00a0 I hate that. I wish I could just give them the address to this site and they could just read on their own.<\/p>\n<p>We have someone coming today to do things that I cannot.\u00a0 Some of the things he is doing is making modifications to the house to increase my independence.\u00a0 That&#8217;s my status.\u00a0 Can I just send the insurance company his bill as proof of how I am doing?<\/p>\n<p>I have ideas.\u00a0 My mind is still working on computer development and I can&#8217;t follow through with my ideas.\u00a0 I can only write code a very little bit each day.\u00a0 My body prevents me from taking an idea, getting in the zone, and following it until it is functional.\u00a0 I&#8217;m just so tired of my stark limitations.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve built up a massive development environment, but can do very little with it because of my limitations.<\/p>\n<p>In a life where fixing your own cup of coffee is viewed as an achievement, how can a person do marvelous things?\u00a0 I can only watch others do them.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t want to be a spectator.\u00a0 I want to be the competitor.<\/p>\n<p>Ugh, I hate me whining.<\/p>\n<p>Jay<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I ordered a fountain pen.\u00a0 Nothing extravagant, just something without a ball in it.\u00a0 I&#8217;m thinking that I&#8217;ll be able to write better with a pen I don&#8217;t have to press into the paper.\u00a0 I can just let the ink flow.
