{"id":1123,"date":"2018-10-12T07:17:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-12T12:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/journey.jayctheriot.com\/?p=1123"},"modified":"2018-10-12T07:17:00","modified_gmt":"2018-10-12T12:17:00","slug":"recovery-from-lightning-strikes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jayscafe.net\/?p=1123","title":{"rendered":"Recovery from Lightning Strikes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>#KennedysDisease #SBMA #Success #ExtremeSpasticity #AcceptanceWithoutSurrender<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two days ago, I fell prey to a series of &#8220;lightning&#8221; spasms.\u00a0 Theses are spasms that seemingly come from no where quickly bolt the body, do excessive damage and then leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>About six of these struck me in two groups of three.\u00a0 I followed my Abort! protocol each time to stop the strikes, but too late.\u00a0 The damage was done.\u00a0 Particularly hit was my right arm and left leg.\u00a0 I find this interesting.\u00a0 In the past, it would only be one side.\u00a0 My adductors that were injected with Botox were definitely affected. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pain was dizzying. Today, the pain is only crazy.\u00a0 I attribute the &#8220;rapid&#8221; recovery to super-loading with protein.\u00a0 I expect to be only in considerable pain tomorrow then regular levels of pain the day after and on.\u00a0 I&#8217;m using the wheelchair almost exclusively.\u00a0 I suspect I&#8217;ll be there for the next few days.\u00a0 I am looking forward to when I no longer need the chair, except for when I am fatigued..<br \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Christ,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jay C. &#8220;Jazzy_J&#8221; Theriot<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jay C.
